Primitive neuroectodermal tumors are part of a group of neoplasms grouped under the term “Ewing sarcoma family tumors,” which share the histological feature of presenting small round cells and blue color, as well as positivity of immunohistochemical studies with reactivity for CD99, FLI-1, CAV-1, and HNK-1. It is presented a clinical case of a 47-year-old woman to whom the incidental diagnosis of a primitive neuroectodermal tumor of a soft-tissue tumor in the left inguinal region is made, an unusual situation in terms of location of this type of tumors, which causes brain metastases, a rare frequent site.
