Solid pseudopapillary neoplasm is an extremely rare tumor that represents approximately 0.9-2.7% of all exocrine pancreatic tumors. This entity tends to have a greater predilection for young women between the ages of 18 and 35 and usually presents as a slow-growing abdominal mass with nonspecific manifestations. Its proper diagnosis consists mainly of imaging studies since it presents characteristics that distinguish it from other entities. Likewise, its management requires a multidisciplinary approach, where surgery has shown to play a crucial role.
